Thank you, America
Rev. Dunkley shares a message just days away from the opening of the Cheon Won Gung, expressing his pride in the American family for bringing the offering.
Dear Family,
Greetings from outside the beautiful Cheon Won Gung. In just under two weeks, many of us will gather here for the Entrance Ceremony—a historic moment in Heaven’s Providence. This universal temple of peace is more than a structure. It’s an offering to our Heavenly Parent, prepared by True Mother as a place where God can finally dwell, not symbolically, but substantially.
We may not fully grasp the depth of True Mother’s vision, but we do know this: when we unite with her, miracles unfold. And I believe we are now living through one of them.
When I reflect on the meaning of this moment, I think about the Garden of Eden—not just Adam and Eve being cast out, but humanity, in essence, casting God out. For 6,000 biblical years, we’ve longed to return. And now, centering on the victorious foundation of True Parents—especially the sacrificial course of True Mother—we are inviting God home again. Not abstractly, but tangibly.
And while the entire world has been preparing for this, I have to say: what I’ve seen from America moves me to tears. This nation—our movement—you have done something deeply meaningful. I’ve tried to record this message multiple times, but the emotion keeps catching up to me. The offering we are bringing is built on the foundation of our True Parents, our elders, our families, and even those throughout history who gave their lives for this moment. And America has shown up.
We’ve nearly reached 1200 new members joining over the last few months in preparation for this moment, and we will continue to grow. We didn’t just meet our offering goal for Cheon Won Gung—we surpassed it. Your generosity and determination are incredible. If you still want to give, you can. And we are also bringing many young couples and clergy to participate in the Blessing this year, building momentum not just through numbers, but through heart.
For the Blessing, we are working hard to simplify our systems and increase support—for our pastors, families, young people, and especially the new members who’ve recently joined. We want to bring them all the way—to the Blessing and beyond.
At the same time, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your work on the petition campaign for religious freedom in Japan. What’s happening there is not just about our church, or even just a national matter. It’s a global test of religious liberty. And your efforts—collecting signatures in churches, schools, parks, and online—have made a powerful statement. Our original goal was 20,000. Then we reached for 100,000. And now we’ve passed it—over 105,000 and still growing. Thank you!
The Japanese church is deeply moved by your support. Rev. Tanaka and others have shared how much it meant to them. They felt your heart. When the elder son stands up, the mother can be comforted. America is fulfilling its role in this providential moment—not just in word, but in deed. Thank you!
True Mother herself asked the global movement to pray—not only for Korea, but for America—during these final 40 days. That tells you everything. Because when America moves, the world shifts. And we are moving. Something new is rising here, and I believe it’s just the beginning.
So thank you, sincerely. Thank you for being courageous. Thank you for making history. Thank you for welcoming the next era with everything you have.
Let’s stay united. Let’s keep creating, keep blessing, and keep building—until the whole world becomes God’s home.
God bless you. God bless America. God bless Cheon Won Gung. And may we fulfill the dream of Heaven—together.
With love and gratitude,
Rev. Demian Dunkley
